Biography

Kgaogelo Mashilo known as the sculptor Cow Mash was born in Pietersburg in 1994 and is based in Pretoria. She is currently a fulltime student studying at the Tshwane University of Technology, studying fine and applied arts majoring in sculpture, towards an M-tech degree.

In 2015 Cow Mash was a finalist in the PPC imaginarium. In 2016 her maquette was selected for the NHP/TUT/NPC mentorship project. A life-size figure of this work now stands in Groenkloef Nature reserve part of the National Heritage Foundation. In 2017 she worked together with Paballo Majela and Zelda Stroud on the 2.5meter figure of  O.R Tambo which now stands at the O.R Tambo international airport.
