Biography

Peace Petty obtained a degree in Art and English and taught art in three schools and privately for many years.

She studied printmaking  under Mimi van der Merwe, and has participated in many group exhibitions: with the S.A. Arts Association, the Watercolour Association of S.A., the Graphic Printmaking Guild, at the Oude Libertas Gallery and the S.A. Print Gallery etc, and at the Fynarts Festivals.

She has had three solo exhibitions, and sold her work through galleries nationally and internationally.

Peace works in various media: watercolour, oils, pastels and enjoys developing ideas in printmaking.
